ここまで読んできた読者には、それがなにを示唆するものか、おわかりであろう。純粋水爆の爆発においては、周辺に顕著な放射能汚染はない。世界は、まだ、｢純粋水爆｣というものが実在する可能性に、全く気付いていないのである。
そ のアフガンでもイラクでも、小児白血病など放射線被爆に起因すると思われる疾病が集団発生している。米軍が用いた劣化ウラン弾が原因だと、多くの人たちが 思い込んでいる。思い込まされているのかもしれない。実際に劣化ウラン弾は使われている。そして、兵士や市民の体内から微量だが検出されるケースが半分ほ どある。
(劣化ウラン被害を指弾する人たちの中に、左翼団体的な集団があるようだ。左翼の人たちの背後には、時として、特殊な資本家集団が見え隠れする。そして、その資本家たちは、ブッシュ政権の黒幕でもある。黒幕たちには、世界が劣化ウランを目の敵にしてくれたほうが都合が良いのかもしれない。ちなみに、この人たちのことをもっと知りたい方は、レーニンとトロツキーのスポンサーが誰であったかを調べることをお勧めする。）
劣 化ウランによるとされる白血病や癌の発生は、イラクでも報告されている。イラクからの帰還兵が作った子供に障害が多発している。DNAの損傷を想起させ る。イラクにおいても、核が使用されたのではないかと疑惑がもたれている事実がある。劣化ウラン被害の報告されるところでは、どこでも、核の使用が疑われ ている現実がある。また、アフガニスタンでは、兵士の持つライフルが熱で溶けていた、生存者は程なく死亡したなど、戦術核バンカーバスター弾の使用が疑わ れる事態が、戦場で起きていた。
白血病は、「劣化ウランが放射するかもしれない」アルファ線で発病する病気ではない。最初に疑うべきは、中性子線であり、中性子線は純粋水爆で照射される主たる放射線である。白血病の病態をみると、まさしく、被爆後5-10年で発病した広島長崎のケースと酷似している。そして、同じ白血病系統の血液細胞の癌が、911以降、WTC現場に最初に入った人たちの間で集団発生している。
阿修羅における水爆説否定派の人物も、WTCの地震波の波形に「極めて短時間の顕著な変化（スパイク）」があることを認めており、ビル倒壊のによるパン ケーキ 崩壊では｢説明できない｣ものであることを認めている。だが、あえて、核爆発との関係には言及を避けている様子だが。同氏によると、公式見解もこの地震波 のデータを無視しているという。無視せざるを得ないことを、彼らがしでかしたということである。ブッシュの背後の黒幕が。

ロシア軍の核部門担当者らは、米軍がイラク攻撃を決行した場合、敵の大量破壊兵器を撃滅して完勝を期すため、低威力の核兵器を使用する のではないかとの懸念を強めている。露紙「独立新聞」（３０日付）によると、露軍参謀本部戦略研究センターのワルフォロメイ・コロブシン大将は最近、米軍 がイラクの地下の化学・生物兵器貯蔵庫を破壊する目的で、地層突入型核爆弾Ｂ６１―１１といった兵器を使用する可能性があることに言及した。Ｂ６１―１１ は航空機から投下され、地下７―４０メートルまで突入して爆発し、地震波で地下目標を破壊する。爆発エネルギーの大きさを、０・３―８０キロ・トンの範囲 で選択でき、核兵器としては低威力だが、同紙は、地層が爆発で覆されて放射能が地表に噴き出し、深刻な汚染をもたらすのは必至だとしている。
ま た、米英が現在、現地に結集させつつある兵力は１５万人未満で、湾岸戦争当時の多国籍軍（約７０万人）に比べて格段に少ないにもかかわらず、今回は「国家 としてのイラクを完敗させ、完全に支配する」という多国籍軍よりも困難な任務を遂行しなければならない点にも着目。同紙は、露軍専門家らの見方を踏まえ、 この状況下で米軍がイラクの抗戦意思をくじき、早急に降伏させるための「唯一の解決策」として「少数の核兵器による攻撃」を選択する可能性があると報じ た。同紙はまた、イラクでの核使用には、他の「米国への潜在敵対勢力」を震え上がらせ、大量破壊兵器製造の意思を放棄させる効用があるとも伝えている。

イラク日記（７）劣化ウラン弾の町

今 日は、南部の町バスラに行く日だ。バスラはクウェート国境近くのイラク第２の都市で、湾岸戦争の激戦地にも近い。湾岸戦争時、米軍はこの地域の戦闘で劣化 ウラン弾を使用した。劣化ウランは原子力発電所などから出る核廃棄物だが、これを混ぜることで安い価格で密度の高い弾を作ることができ、ミサイルや対戦車 砲の表面に使うと砲弾の貫通力が強まる。ウランは重い金属で、鉛の弾と同じ大きさで、鉛よりずっと同じ重さの弾を作れる。この重さが、貫通力を高める。

劣化ウランは放射能を出して人体に被害を与えるが、戦場で使う分には「敵」に対してのみ放射能をばらまくのでかまわないということで、米軍は湾岸戦争やコソボ戦争などで劣化ウラン弾を使った。
ところが実際には「敵」の中には無数の市民がいた。クウェート国境近くのイラク領内で米軍が発射した大量の劣化ウラン弾からばらまかれた放射性物質は、砂 漠の砂塵に混じって周辺の村々やバスラ市内に到達し、湾岸戦争が終わった数カ月後の１９９１年夏ごろから、バスラ一帯では放射能の影響と思われる白血病や ガン、奇形児の出産が増加した。
これらの患者数は湾岸戦争から１２年が 経過した今になっても減らず、バスラだけでなく、バスラから５００キロ離れた首都バクダッドなどでも、１９９５年ごろから劣化ウラン弾が原因と思われる白 血病やガンなどの患者が増えだした。子供や胎児に被害が大きいため、バスラとバクダッドに、白血病やガンを専門とする小児科・産婦人科病院が作られてい る。
（湾岸戦争に参戦した米軍など多国籍軍の兵士にも、劣化ウラン弾が原 因と思われる症状が出ている。最近ではアフガニスタンで同様の被害が注目され、２００１年秋のアフガン戦争で米軍が劣化ウラン弾を使った可能性が指摘され ている。アフガン戦争前の２０００年５月に私がアフガニスタンに行ったときは、ジャララバードでアフガン人の医者が「ソ連軍が劣化ウラン弾をつかったた め、奇形児が出産される率が高くなっている」と言っていたが）

After sending these musings to some friends, and people on my lists, one of them wrote me back saying: "Hi, My brother is an ex-Marine (I know - no such thing). He told me months ago (rather casually, I'm afraid) - when we were arguing over the phone about Bush possibly using nukes on Iraq - that these were just low- grade depleted uranium nukes they were talking about using - NOT the mushroom-cloud generating nukes that we traditionally think of when we talk about nukes - e.g., the ones that were used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki... Besides, he told me - the US had ALREADY used many of these low-grade depleted uranium nukes in Iraq, during the FIRST Persian Gulf war, back in the early 90's. He seemed to believe that this was common knowledge amongst the military, and most ex-military personnel. Having once been interested in these sorts of things, I know the duration and energy output of a fuel-air or "thermobaric" bomb produces far too low an energy density for this phenomenon to occur.
As America's intention to use thermbaric bombs was announced some days in advance of their actual application, I pondered at the time if this were not a cover-story, much as the cover-story to the first Alamogordo test, to explain away in advance actual testing of tactical nuclear bunker-busters in Afghanistan.
Since the reports of melted weapons have surfaced, I urge you
